Yes, we like to collaborate closely with other trades to ensure a seamless finished product. Clear communication is key to achieving the best results, and we're experienced in coordinating our work with other professionals involved in your project.

What needs to be done with skirting boards before flooring installation?

Skirting boards need to be removed prior to flooring installation. Our team will take care of this process, ensuring that everything is prepared correctly for the new flooring.

What are the requirements for the subfloor before installation?

The subfloor needs to be flat, clear, and clean prior to installation. Industry standard recommends a maximum deviation of 3 mm over 3 m. If additional preparation work is required, we can do this charged at an hourly rate.

How does flooring installation work with kitchen cabinetry?

Kitchen cabinetry needs to be supported on the subfloor. All panels and kick boards should be removed prior to flooring installation. After we complete the flooring, a joiner should refit these elements for a seamless finish.

Do you offer subfloor preparation services?

Yes, we can perform subfloor preparation if needed. Any additional subfloor preparation work beyond standard requirements will be charged on an hourly rate.

How long does a typical flooring installation take?

The duration of the installation depends on various factors such as the size of the area, the type of flooring, and the condition of the subfloor. Rest assured we will get the job done in a timely manner, but we won't rush or cut corners. Quality work takes time.

What types of timber flooring do you install?

We install a wide range of timber flooring options, including Engineered wood, Laminate and Hybrid. During our consultation, we'll discuss the best options for your specific needs and preferences.

Does the area need to be prepared before you start work?

Yes, the installation area needs to be completely clear and clean prior to our arrival. We require a clear space to work efficiently and deliver the best results. This means all furniture and other items should be removed from the area where flooring will be installed.
